Day 33 Polruan to Polperro approx 6.5 miles

After a lovely night in the Singing Kettle we left about 9.15 this morning as we knew would be worse in the afternoon and Mum had to get back to Somerset later.

The scenery was gorgeous but the paths were tough. There had been a lot of rain overnight and the 6 odd miles were pretty hard work. A lot of very overgrown paths as well, but Mum just about stayed on her feet today.

We passed Lantic Bay which is a great looking beach which is mostly accessed by boat and we were high above it. We carried on around the headland and it was great shrubby, ferny cliffs that I love. There was an awesome tiny tiny cottage that we passed that used to be used as a lookout.

We went passed a few more small coves being battered by the rough sea. There was a huge stone pillar randomly on the path which was cool.

The drizzle started a bit before we arrived in Polperro, which couldn't be seen until the last minute. Just in time we  arrived and walked straight into the Blue Peter pub for lunch as we were starving.

Back to Polruan to get the car and mum dropped me back in Polperro again.

I wasn't alone for long as 1/2 hr later Harry arrived for the weekend! Yay. Hope the weather is better tomorrow its miserable right now outside.
